Motorcyclists Encounter Christ: Pilgrimage Number 1
On Saturday 29th May 2011 we took off on our first Motorcyclists Encounter Christ Pilgrimage, destination Divine Mercy Shrine, Stockbridge, MA.
We left Dunkin Donuts in Harvard, MA at around 9:00 and arrived in Stockbridge around 12:20. Lunch was wonderful at a cafe formerly known as Alice’s Restaurant from the Arlo Guthire song of the same name. Great tuna wrap and iced tea.
Weather started out misty, but the rain fell during the day everywhere but not on our ride.
We headed to The Shrine of Divine Mercy and had a wonderful visit there with a Rosary for Life, Confession and Mass. We walked around the grounds, talked and chatted and headed back on the same route home. Wonderful day! Praise the Lord.
