The healings of the woman and the resurrection of the 12 year old girl represent the power the Son of God has over life, and the future healing we can expect from an eternal life with Him. Faith is required to follow Him and both the synagogue official and the bleeding woman had such faith.
Look how she is desperate to touch Him and is assured of her healing as a result. How many of us need to reach out and touch Jesus today? Let us do that right now in a quiet moment that we find this space to meditate on Him.
Daily prayers and meditations 
I was really moved by today’s Gospel and knowing how women were treated in Jesus’ time, I was deeply touched at the way He treated her–He stopped to listen, looked for her with loving compassion and praised her for having extreme faith. I felt it was me and that He bothers with me! It gave me the grace to understand a certain situation that I need to bring to Him in prayer. The story of the little girl was also moving and His treatment of the Entire Family–the parents and not just the little girl–reminds us of Jesus’ love for the human family!
