Jesus’s mission here was misunderstood by many who judged him based on who he befriended and welcomed to the kingdom. He made his mission and ours by implication, clear.

It is not just want you say, but what you do. What is in your heart for your fellow man, and we need to communicate with our fellow man in every way we can, not just those we are comfortable with, our closest friends and family.
