What is the next move?

How to move when I am scared?

Should I be brave?

Or outthink the opponent?

 

Am I strong only to appear unwilling to be vulnerable?

Or is my strength my vulnerability.

 

Head parked out there somewhere,

Disconnected;

Forgotten where I parked the car.

Thank God.

 

This stare,

Unblinking to the other side,

Is so relaxing,

I didn’t even notice it.

 

Until that dog started barking behind me.

And brought me back to reality.
