The Chalice of Peace and Love

The chalice sits

full to the brim

Cradled, precious cargo in my hands,

I glide gently towards the one partaking.

Sweet lips savor and

her tongue tenderly clears the glistening liquid

from her lips;

Ensuring she does not spill even the smallest drop of Peace and Love.

A glow, but not from the vessel, but rather its contents

Shows the way of eternal life.

Slowly, grace flows down my throat,

Teasing and changing the heart inside me … forever more.

Now I sit replete with peace like never before;

Love radiates from me

from coals inside me that cannot be extinguished.

I am protected forever.

The Presence felt like a radio,

blasting invisible but penetrating waves

Of love and peace;

To all who hear the voice of God.

I will never tune out to this voice,

Having tasted Love and Peace.

I am changed forever more.

I have Christ within

Peace and Love contained.

Psalm 116

The cup of salvation I will take up,
and I will call upon the name of the LORD

Acts
She was being built up and walked in the fear of the Lord,
and with the consolation of the Holy Spirit she grew in numbers.

Divine Mercy Sunday–Quotes from St. Faustina

“Love is flooding my soul; I am plunged into an ocean of love. I feel that I am swooning and becoming completely lost in Him.”

“His presence penetrates me to my very depths and fills me with peace, joy and amazement. After such moments of prayer, I am filled with strength and an extraordinary courage to suffer and struggle.”

“She will be as if dead, not understood by the world and not understanding the world.” (Instructions given for the rule of her Order)

“and He covered Me with with a red cloak like the one He was clothed with during His Passion”

From the diary of St. Faustina

Oh Happy Easter,

here in my little white suit,

size 2 shoes and surrounded by love on all sides.

The lights are on for me in more ways than one this morning.

The water pours, some important words, and then,

the priest raises me up,

on this morning of The Ressurection,

for all to see and applaud.

I AM bapitized
