Don’t we all betray him when we sin against Him? We know what his sacrifice entailed and yet we still ignore him. He waits there on the cross reminding us of his love for us. Undying love that returned with his resurrection and the Holy Spirit.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 3 APRIL 2012
The disciples were confused at what was happening around them. They did not understand Jesus’s words fully till after the resurrection. Judas camouflaged his deceit, and the disciples were confused as to how they would deny Jesus by the words he spoke. We are all called to deny him by others in this same way in our daily lives. Let us resist as we know the truth now. Christ lives in all of us forever.

Beware of those who will not give homage and honor to the Lord but rather want to take the credit or the worldly treasure for themselves. Rather do your works of honor in silence and quietly so that others may not notice, for God knows and sees all these sweet acts of mercy.
