It is truly wonderful in the way that the Lord will respond when we respond to others. Not in a way that is the “God of reward”, but when we do, act and think in genuine mercy. Mercy may be the greatest gift we have been given to show his love in action on earth. I pray I try and use it more often each day, for the grace that flows is not just in abundance, but it pours over us in every way.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 2 MARCH 2012
We have to resolve problems with our fellow man if we want to be in communion with God. Jesus wants us to get closer to him through our treatment of others, and this is how we are treating him. I will try and remember this through my day.
REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 1 MARCH 2012
Jesus will do for us what we need, when we need it. We ask and we will get what we need in his time, not necessarily our time. Trials are sent us to purify and strengthen us, even though we may not feel it at the time.
