We have everything to gain here on earth, and at the same time; everything to lose. Our choice is clear, every moment, every day, we should chose Jesus, and beg forgiveness when we do not.

Sometimes things happen that we do not understand, and we are afraid to confront the problem. With faith all things are possible. God provides us not just with redemption, but an explanation of how to receive the grace from it. We have to listen and we have to act.

John the Baptist proclaimed the Word every day. Herod feared what he had done to execute him, but was too prideful to not do the right thing and refuse his daughter her horrible request. Pray that we have the faith and courage to make the right decisions for ourselves today.
