We sometimes want to congratulate the person who does the work.

Instead we need to understand they are the instrument and the work is God’s.

This is a deeper knowledge of our work and purpose here on earth.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 7 OCTOBER 2011

Proclaiming work in God’s name is done quietly and humbly.

If we do something good to gain accolades for ourselves, then we have not done the work for God.

Please teach me God to be humble and serve others for your sake alone.

We must do God’s will for them all, as they are all God’s children.

When others ask we give.

When we ask, God will give. Knock on that door every day and see it open for you.
