REFLECTION ON DAILY GOSPEL 4 SEPTEMBER 2011

Jesus informs us clearly our duties when others are doing wrong.

If they don’t listen to us, we should inform others, so the person informed has many points of input for their problem. If the person still does wrong, it is their fault and no fault is held on us for ignoring the issue.

We are reminded we will get our rewards in eternal life based on our actions and words in this life.

Praying together is the most powerful tool we have to change the world and lives of others.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 3 SEPTEMBER 2011

No law set by man is above that of the Son of Man.

Jesus teaches us when these laws make no sense and worldly authorities put themselves above the needs of their fellow man. These clarifications are not lost on us today, with man made laws on abortion, contraception, marriage all defying His Law.

Our love for him is shown by following his Way, not those that fill their authority with pomp and laws to protect their own position and status.
