Reflection on Mark 1:21-28 Jesus removes the unclean spirits

The removal of an unclean spirit in the synagogue must have been a sight to behold. Jesus was not just teaching, but teaching with authority. They were both amazed and fearful of their fate as they knew they were in the presence of someone sent from God the Father of the Old Testament.
Quieting down the spirits that provide temptation in our lives, that move us away from God and towards another is something to reflect on for the day. We can see the healing touch of Jesus on the man in the picture. Let us be the man healed today.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 3 JANUARY 2013

john the baptist baptizes Jesus

Can we imagine this event. Jesus shows us His humanity and divinity in a single humility filled act, having John baptize Him in the waters of the Jordan. Can we renew this vow each day, committing our lives to His work. With a New Year just upon us, we are renewed again and can face the world with Christ beside us.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL THIS CHRISTMAS DAY 2012

Christmas Shepards

The Good News was told to the shepherds and they immediately went to visit Christ. The common man were the first to receive the news of our salvation. How often do we hear that news ourselves and take action and be attentive to the Lord call to us?

Let us rejoice in His coming on this Christmas Day! Pray for others to hear His call this coming year.
