REFLECTION ON THE BETRAYAL OF JESUS WEDNESDAY HOLY WEEK 27 MARCH 2013

the last supper

The fact that the scriptures were fulfilled by Judas betraying Jesus, after having just eaten with Him at the table does not excuse Judas for his terrible crime. Imagine the disappointment of such a betrayal. Let us examine our own lives in this last days of Lent and see where we might be disappointing Jesus. Let us ask for this forgiveness and resolve to change that behavior.

REFLECTION ON THE GOSPEL OF HOLY TUESDAY 26 MARCH 2013

JESUSPREDICTSHISBETRAYER

The choice that evening for Judas was to pass from the Light to the Dark. When John says “And it was night.” That is the transition for Judas and the setting up of the most famous betrayal in history. Let us reflect in our own lives, when we have betrayed Jesus, turned away, when we left His side, when He was by ours in times of need. Just as those in the picture above, we want to say in the Light.
