REFLECTON ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 23 JANUARY 2012

The scribes attributed God’s work in the Holy Spirit to the devil. This is an unforgivable sin if not confessed with commitment. It is easy to encourage the devil to work in others, but not recognizing the work of the Holy Spirit is can really lead to an evil place.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 14 OCTOBER 2011

There is nothing we do or think that is not known to God. We will have to account for all our deeds and by his standards.

We must repent and keep thoughts and deeds as pure as we can. The devil is evil and persistent in his ways, he knows how to tempt and make you fall.

Resist. God is looking after our spirit. All the hairs on your head have been counted.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 17 SEPTEMBER 2011

We have the choice of who we want to listen to and direct our lives. God or the devil.

We can pursue this reward by following his voice and ignoring temptation. Temptation may never leave us completely on this earth, but we can pray to God for help when it occurs.

Each triumph enriches the soil in which we are planted.
