Intense disappointment is a hurtful sword,
It stabs and bleeds and bleeds and stabs,
till you remove the blade and start
healing with love and recompense.
Love is the only cure, which returns the Peace you had.

The fact that the scriptures were fulfilled by Judas betraying Jesus, after having just eaten with Him at the table does not excuse Judas for his terrible crime. Imagine the disappointment of such a betrayal. Let us examine our own lives in this last days of Lent and see where we might be disappointing Jesus. Let us ask for this forgiveness and resolve to change that behavior.
