Gospel Mt 23:1-12
Today’s reading and Gospel asks us not only to follow God, but also to be wary of those teaching and preaching who do not follow His message. At this turbulent times for the Church, let us pray for guidance to ensure that we always follow the road Christ has set for us, and not be mislead by those that might have strayed to a path they consider their own.
Today’s Gospel cannot be shown better than the actions of the father in the Prodigal Son parable. Forgiveness is something that we can all give, even if if pains us to do so. By forgiving, we have removed the hardness of heart that often stops us meeting with God, and bringing others to God.
Do not be afraid, for God is with us.
He will be by our side at all times.
We will see Him in Glory in Heaven, our bodies transformed.
