Believe in God when he gives you the opportunity to do his will. Going the other way will simply make your life miserable, both here and in eternity. Your previous ways are irrelevant to the Lord when you make the decision to follow him.
If only we all could accept the will of God the way Mary did. We are all a little scared when we are called to do his work, Mary shows us the perfect sinless model of how to follow him and accept it all.
This beautiful invitation is for all of us who are having trouble or strife in our lives. Jesus invites me in, don’t worry, I can carry you through this. I will never refuse you if you are willing to learn.
He shows his humility, even though he is God and has no requirement to be humble; showing, as he does, that humility and meekness are virtues we all could use at times.
