THE SPECIAL ROOM

Curtains are pulled,
             Revealing an unknown room,
An adjacent world, somehow intangible to others.
Some trickery of My mind with its imaginary audience?
Perhaps;
No, rather a window to My soul,
Incomprehensible but now Opened.
Never to be closed again.

That little particle which lets me See,
Invisible to my eye, yet known in my heart.
Stretches years to precious moments in my Now,
In His dusty, sunlight-streaming room,
Once hidden … Now exposed,
every lit up speck floats towards my face … ready for contemplation.
Each one with a story to tell,
to know,
to enjoy,
to fulfill.

Now seeing turns to listening,
To silence; the sound of Your Love.
Absorbed,
I feel the warmth, the presence of I AM,
One with you for a fleeting but rememberable moment.
Let me sit awhile with You, inside this special room.
Together. Just You and Me.

REFLECTION ON THE UNMERCIFUL SERVANT: GOSPEL 5 MARCH 2013

UnmercifulServant

Forgiveness from the heart is not always easy. Jesus shows us today that His mercy is unlimited, but He wants us to pass it on to others. How many times must we forgive He asks? Not seven, but seventy-seven. For those that show mercy will sow mercy for themselves. Let us have a merciful day, and forgiven someone who needs our forgiveness and mercy.

REFLECTION ON THE MERCY OF GOD: GOSPEL READING 25 FEBRUARY 2013

Today’s Gospel cannot be shown better than the actions of the father in the Prodigal Son parable. Forgiveness is something that we can all give, even if if pains us to do so. By forgiving, we have removed the hardness of heart that often stops us meeting with God, and bringing others to God.
