This beautiful invitation is for all of us who are having trouble or strife in our lives. Jesus invites me in, don’t worry, I can carry you through this. I will never refuse you if you are willing to learn.
He shows his humility, even though he is God and has no requirement to be humble; showing, as he does, that humility and meekness are virtues we all could use at times.
Jesus instructed his initial disciples to do the work of the Lord. Now that work is upon our shoulders. He calls us every day to do his work, proclaim his name and help others who need it.
Are we behaving as we should to this call?
Faith will make the difference for us every time. Without faith with are nothing, with it we are either at one, or at least closer to God. Even though Jesus asked them not to spread the Word of his miracles, they could not help themselves. Lord let me receive the grace to spread the Word every day.
