REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 18 SEPTEMBER 2011

Jesus tells us to be humble, welcoming and if we have power and resources in this world to use them wisely.

It is never too late for someone to come to the Lord and he welcomes all with the same price of admission. An open heart to receive his love and grace.

If we have the chance to know him longer we should be grateful. We should welcome others coming the faith, whenever they are called as our brothers and sisters. Just as if we were the father in the prodigal son.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 16 SEPTEMBER 2011

Have you had the opportunity of delivering the Good News as a part of a team of likeminded Christians?

I can only imagine how beautiful the experience was for those that were following Our Lord as he taught them the way through The Narrow Gate.

As they traveled from town to town, following without question, supporting each other. Every day must have been a new revelation to them.

I have had this experience with his followers as a group of Twelve Christians delivering prison retreats. Women and men, all prepared with faith, love and hope that the Holy Spirit will provide the support needed to change lives. It is truly a sight to behold.

Thank You Lord for giving me this little “burst of light” as I seek the Truth.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 14 SEPTEMBER 2011

The mystery of the Trinity and God’s love for us is borne out in his act of sending his only son, to save mankind.

We can only imagine what rewards will await us in heaven, beauty and love beyond our comprehension.
