REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 16 JANUARY 2012

I have always had difficulty interpreting this parable. It is almost two messages. The first being; always enjoy the presence of the Lord fully when you have the opportunity to do so; don’t separate yourself in any way possible, even by fasting or concentrating on something else. The other being you have to be ready for the experience to meet your creator. That means we have to be ready to receive him in our heart, and not go back to our sinful ways and “pretend” to accept him, when our actions, thoughts and desires are based in our old ways. We must accept God with the an open heart.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 23 OCTOBER 2011

It’s not enough just to keep God’s commandments as delivered by Moses. He wants more.

He wants that submissive love not just for him, but for your fellow man.

When you do this for your neighbor, with a clear and open heart you will receive imbibed grace and your life will be changed forever.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 26 SEPTEMBER 2011

Jesus tells us to have always to have an open heart and not to try and be better than another man.

Everyone participates in God’s love, so the less you make yourself, the closer you will become to God.

We are all God’s disciples.
