REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL AND READINGS 24 JUNE 2013

We are indeed “all wonderfully made” and that should not surprise us, because God made us.

Now all this is left is for us to do His “wondrous works”. As John the Baptist prepared the way to connect us to Jesus and His mission, we need to continue the tradition and expose others to God’s work through Jesus and the Trinity. Pray today that I may be an instrument of His Holy work in my day. For this I pray.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 4 DECEMBER 2012

Gospel Lk 10:21-24

The purity of a child’s heart and the love of their parents are borne out this scripture reading. The revelation of God the Father and the relationship between Jesus and His Father is wondrous in this passage, and that the revelation continues through the Holy Spirit each day of our lives. Perhaps we should ponder for a moment on the beauty of The Trinity revealed through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 8 MAY 2012

Jesus wants us to have peace in our spirits from the love he has shown us. He warns us that Satan will be here to tempt and distract, but that he will be back. This is a reference to the Holy Spirit who stays with us in the world to guide and help us. The mystery of the Trinity is with us at all times.
