Imagine the delight of Mary and the other women as they raced to tell the news! Then Peter did the same and was also amazed, the unbelievable appeared to have happened. Let us savor this along with all of the meaning this gave to the other scriptures in the Old Testament, Christ was among us, risen, our King, Our Lord. Imagine what happened in your life when you discovered “your empty tomb”, that insight with faith that Jesus was risen, and He was inside you; available at all times; with unlimited, unconditional love for you. He had given everything of His humanity, and now made it clear he loves you divinely.
unconditional love
REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 22 JUNE 2012
Being of good heart. These words are very beautiful, not just nostalgic. They describe how you feel about someone else, sometimes perhaps about ourselves. It’s that warm feeling inside we get when we think we have done the right thing, or someone who really cares about us feels the same way. This is the treasure God wants us to store up for ourselves. It is treasure that will never be robbed or taken from us. It’s stored in our soul for all to see, and no one to steal. They only receive this unconditional love that radiates from us.
