Wisdom is a personalized attribute of God. Those who hear his message above the noise of protesters will be blessed by Him. How often do we have to “tune out” the noise of protestation to hear His message. The sound of silence and quietness in our souls is a truly blessed moment.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL AND READINGS 4 SEPTEMBER 2012
Today’s reading from 1 Corinthians talk about the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, versus man-made wisdom. It is really important for us to make that discernment, as there are many today that believe strongly in their own wisdom; and some of them represent this as God’s wisdom. Keeping ourselves in a spiritual mindset will ensure we don’t make this mistake and keep us ever closer to God.
REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 18 JULY 2012
Being open to the Word is more important than intelligently analyzing everything said in the Bible in just a literal or historical context. This childlike reception of knowledge of our beliefs is grounded in faith.
We need that openness that only a child processes, and that openness is called faith. This door should always remain open if we really want to have that wisdom imparted and the Son revealed to us.
