Ferocious the beautiful cold comes in on a New Year again.

Reminding us of the burning temperature

of a winter’s day.

 

The waterfall pauses,

giving us respite to see its form,

much colder than we could take.

Revealing a pause in our day,

to ponder and reveal,

another year.
