He suffered, as we must to be by his side.
We cannot see what is ahead of us, but God will return us to him in his time. We must remain faithful as his followers.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 9 NOVEMBER 2011
Jesus wanted to let the Jews know that he was sent by the father and would return to show them the scriptures were fulfilled by his death and resurrection.
Running our lives entirely about money and using religion as a shield for commerce is the work of a fake. He shows the sign and we have our cross to carry to give him praise.

We can all learn from being a humble servant. We sometimes have a better expectation for ourselves, but our real job is to please the master.
It is simpler to understand the requirement when we are asked to prepare a meal, to work in the field. It’s more complex when we have to discern what to do ourselves.
Doing his will automatically without being asked.
