REFLECTION ON THE GOSPEL 7 NOVEMBER 2011

Those that sin against us many times are steeped in a culture of anger, retribution and hunger for possessions.

As we have this revealed to us, we have to have faith that God has a different plan for our lives. So no matter what it costs, we should forgive those who are against us. That also does not mean that we should not rebuke them for their behavior.

We are obliged to do both, forgive and rebuke.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 5 NOVEMBER 2011

Money should be a vehicle in life to provide for our family and share our wealth with others.

If we use or acquire it unfairly, we will not be rewarded either here or in heaven. God holds no store in money for money’s sake. Neither should we.
