The Lord wants us to continue our work to deliver the Word personally to those that want to receive it.
We must never punish those who are not yet ready to hear it.

Jesus tells us to have always to have an open heart and not to try and be better than another man.
Everyone participates in God’s love, so the less you make yourself, the closer you will become to God.
We are all God’s disciples.

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 25 SEPTEMBER 2011
It seems like both sons are disobedient in some way. The first because he only followed the father’s instruction after some time, the second for agreeing but not following through.
I guess we all fall into both these traps on occasion, disagreeing but doing the work reluctantly, or agreeing and not following through.
Make me more thoughtful today when these calls are made of me, so that I may respond and follow through with the Father’s call.
