Jesus recognized those of us who need help. All we need to do is recognize that we do and have the faith to ask for it. The man immediately followed the instructions. He did not think, I cannot walk because I have been sick for 38 years. We need to enter through the narrow Sheep Gate and visit the Shepard when we are in need.

Sometimes things happen that we do not understand, and we are afraid to confront the problem. With faith all things are possible. God provides us not just with redemption, but an explanation of how to receive the grace from it. We have to listen and we have to act.
