John the Baptist proclaimed the Word every day. Herod feared what he had done to execute him, but was too prideful to not do the right thing and refuse his daughter her horrible request. Pray that we have the faith and courage to make the right decisions for ourselves today.

We need to recognize him and his works in our lives. The faith of those that touched his cloak is the faith we need to strive for in our own lives. We will also be renewed by staying in contact with him.

Jesus Christ; God made Man. Completely divine and fully human. Many wanted their earthly ailments cured by him, and he knew this would bring forth their faith. May my faith remain strong in him, as he works on making me a better Christian Citizen.
