REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 2 JULY 2012

This reading seems rather harsh at first. Jesus does not have a place he can call home, as He is the Son of God. He expects followers to drop everything, and uses the important ritual of burying your own parents as an example of how much a commitment he wants from us. Let us reside in His presence today, understanding the Holy Spirit is with us at all times to guide us.

Gospel Mt 8:18-22

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 29 JUNE 2012

Peter’s faith was rewarded by having the responsibility of establishing the Church here on earth. Taking the body of Christ and making it a living part of our daily lives. The tradition continues and we try to live out each day as Jesus would want us to … faithfully.
