REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 12 SEPTEMBER 2011

Jesus proves his way is open to anyone, regardless of religion or nationality.

Faith in his Word was proved by the Centurion’s belief in God’s power to heal. He also offered respect along with his faith, removing all doubt from his expectations.

Just say the Word and he will be healed.

Gospel Lk 7:1-10

REFLECTION ON THE DAILY GOSPEL 9 SEPTEMBER 2011

Jesus informs us we cannot be an example or disciple unless we first clean up our own act.

If someone calls us a hypocrite, we should listen carefully, they may be doing us a favor. Unless we remove the beam from our own eye, we cannot faithfully teach the Word.

And each disciple will become as the teacher.
